About

Hi. I'm Rebekah. I help people use science to heal, not just survive.

I’ve spent years studying the brain- how it holds stress, is changed by trauma, forms habits, and recovers. But my understanding didn’t come from textbooks alone. As a counsellor, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with hundreds of people as they try to make sense of their lives. That work has shaped everything I do. It taught me that insight is powerful- but only when it’s paired with empathy.

When I began teaching this information I was met with such a big response, and I quickly realized just how needed it was. After almost every session, people would come up to me and say, “Why has no one ever explained this before?”  They told me it changed how they viewed their behaviours, their past, and themselves. That feedback confirmed what I already knew. This work doesn’t just inform- it transforms. 

My work is about taking complex science and turning it into something human- something that helps people feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow. I help people use science to heal, not just survive. Because once we understand what’s happening beneath the surface, we can start to meet ourselves -and others- with far more compassion.

We cannot address what we don't understand. The physiology of trauma and addiction affects more people than we realize- and still most people aren't talking about it. That needs to change.
